This Privacy Policy explains how InstantSaver ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our Android application to download publicly shared Reels and Stories from Instagram. By using InstantSaver, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Disclaimer of Affiliation

InstantSaver is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to download and use any content, and for respecting the copyright and privacy of original content creators.

2. Information We Collect

InstantSaver is designed to work with minimal data collection. Depending on the features you use, we may process:

• Content URLs/links you paste or share into the app, solely to fetch and download the requested public media.
• Device information such as device model, OS version, and app version, used for crash reporting and compatibility.
• Usage data such as feature interactions and app performance, collected in aggregate/anonymized form via analytics tools.
• Advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID) used to serve and measure ads, if ads are enabled in the app.

InstantSaver does not require you to log in with your Instagram account, and we do not collect your Instagram username, password, or private account data.

3. Permissions Used

• Internet access — to fetch publicly available media from the link you provide.
• Storage / Media access — to save downloaded Reels and Stories to your device.
• Network state — to check connectivity before downloads.

We request only the permissions necessary for the App's core functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

InstantSaver may use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — to display ads within the app. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers for ad personalization and measurement. Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase (Google) — for crash reporting and basic analytics, if enabled.

You can opt out of personalized ads through your device's Google Settings → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

5. How We Use Information

• To provide and maintain the App's download functionality.
• To improve app stability, performance, and features.
• To display relevant, or non-personalized, advertising.
• To diagnose and fix technical issues via crash logs.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Limited data (such as advertising identifiers) may be shared with advertising and analytics partners strictly for the purposes described above. We do not share downloaded media content with any third party — files are saved directly to your device's local storage.

7. Data Storage & Security

Downloaded content is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data that is processed, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

InstantSaver is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold. Since InstantSaver processes most data locally on-device, most information can be cleared simply by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
